Profile:
Francesca graduated with a BCompt Honours degree from the University of South Africa (Unisa) and joined the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2000 as a member.
She completed her SAICA Articles at a medium sized auditing firm in Doornfontein, Johannesburg.
In 2000 she also completed a CIMA (London) degree through the Rand Afrikaans University (RAU) and worked mainly as a Management Accountant through her corporate career. Companies worked for during this period included entities such as ABSA Life Assurance, The African Bank, Clover SA Limited and Danone SA, as well as for the Life Healthcare Group as their Group Management Accountant.
In 2013, she moved into financial management and worked for companies such as Plantimex (Pty) Ltd, Phumelela Gaming and Leisure Limited and the National Horseracing Authority of South Africa.
From 2018 she moved to CTF Financial Services as Audit Manager and more recently as Director/Partner. Responsibilities mainly included managing and overseeing the work of Trainee Accountants pursuing SAICA Articles and she is registered with SAICA as an Assessor in this regard.
Responsibilities included reviewing files of trainees, preparing financials and tax calculations for entities and individuals and liasing with clients.
Francesca is also registered as a Tax Practitioner through SAICA.
