Profile:
Izelle graduated with a BCompt honours in Accounting at the University of South Africa, after achieving a BAccLLB degree from the University of Stellenbosch. She started her articles at Shoprite in 2007 and postponed this after 2 years to pursue an African adventure. Upon her return from Tanzania she resumed and completed her articles. She successfully completed her Initial Test of Competence examination at SAICA and registered as a Chartered Accountant in March 2016.
During her articles she was involved in a wide range of industries. Izelle’s articles at Shoprite exposed her to one of the largest retail companies in South Africa and exposed her to Management Accounting and reporting, Internal Audit, Tax and Financial Reporting.
After her articles she continued to work as a financial accountant for a diamond mine, a helicopter company, a community trust, B-BBEE companies as well as transport companies.
