Marina is an Associate of the Institute of Administration and Commerce and achieved a Company Secretarial Diploma. In her early years, she studied and qualified as a radiographer. However, it was the accounting profession that appealed more to her, and after completing her accounting studies, she joined a large auditing practice in the late 1980’s, known then as Baker Musikanth, and worked in the small to medium business services division. There she learnt to manage the entire accounting function of a portfolio of varied clients from bookkeeping to drafting financial statements and preparing income tax returns. After 5 years with this firm, Marina worked for Ernst and Young for another 6 years in their client accounting department.
In the early development of Business Accounting Network, Marina liked the concept of the enterprise and so was one of the first Associates to join forces in a network of self employed style of business in the year 2000.
