Colene graduated with a Bcom degree from Unisa, after completing a 2 year Certificate in Financial Management from Stellenbosch College (now Boland College).

Her experience and skills have been acquired in the professional accounting and auditing sector, commencing as a 5 year CPA article clerk at Louw Redelinghuys & Co. Thereafter, her career progressed to the position of accountant for a manufacturing company for 1½ years before taking up a position as accountant at a large and well known Wine Estate in Franschhoek.  Colene commenced her own business in April 2006 as an outsourced accountant with Business Accounting Network.
