Business Accounting Network (BAN) is an association (franchise) of Executive Single Operator Franchisees (Associates) and Management Franchisees (area offices) who specialise in bookkeeping and accounting services to small and medium businesses that large audit firms recommend.

BAN is neither a corporate entity nor partnership. BAN’s unique concept offers major benefits to both clients and Associates (franchisees) alike in terms of its organised structure and personal service. This enables our independent contractors (Associates) to meet client and statutory deadlines cost effectively due to a low overhead structure.

Accounting Associates of BAN have trained in the major registered auditing firms with an average of 10 to 15 years experience each. Coupled with a relevant qualification, they can bring to our clients the experience and knowledge necessary to supply them with the information with which to make sound business decisions whilst ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.

BAN specialises in accounting services, from bookkeeping and producing monthly management accounts to the completion of audit working papers and drafting financial statements on behalf of accounting and auditing firms.

BAN also supports Pastel software and offers training, sales and technical support.

Clients are those who:

• Are small and medium businesses who do not have the skills, time or need for a full or part-time bookkeeper/accountant.
• Owner-managed businesses that are aware and understand that the cost related to accounting, outsourced monthly management accounting, tax and other regulatory compliance is critical to the survival of their business, and who do not see this cost as “unproductive”.
• Are small and medium businesses that still see value in other specialised services offered by their auditing firm or accounting officers, e.g. income tax administration and compliance, auditing, consulting, company/close corporation secretarial services, etc.
